Immunity: Emotions & Self Love — (part 2)

Let’s begin by acknowledging our human emotions. As physical beings on planet earth we crave tough, warmth, and physical affection. During times like this, we actually need more touch than normal but most people are receiving less. So, yes, I encourage you to hug the people you feel comfortable hugging. I encourage you to love-on and hug your significant others and children more.

To boost your immunity, I encourage you to practice creating self love and wellness techniques. I encourage you to do things for YOURSELF that will make you feel emotionally blanched and full.

Here are some wellness techniques that have a balancing effect:

  • bubble baths
  • aromatherapy
  • self massage
  • yoga
  • meditative walks
  • practice anything healthy that brings you a sense of warmth
  • gratitude
  • being in the moment
  • forgiveness
  • energy healings
  • chakra alignment
  • conscious & deep breathwork
  • healing emotional wounds
  • feeling love, joy, & compassion from your own soul
  • healthy boundaries
  • honoring your energy field
  • harmony with your inner masculine and feminine energy.

I challenge you to love yourself in a way where you pull back on alcohol, drugs, or any substance that would lower your vibration, distort your intuition, or cause you to run from your emotions. These things seemingly put us in a fun or calm place but they actually stunt our emotional growth and maturity. Any time we use a substance to numb our feelings, we are slowing our growth and fulfillment of our soul. During these times many are turning to coping mechanisms that are not in their highest good — they are taking them off their soul’s path. So instead, do things that raise your vibration (above), tap deeper into your intuition, and honor your emotions by embracing them. Instead of turning outward for ways to cope, look inward at what you are coping with and why. Pinpoint the triggers and look into why you felt triggered (see Part 3 on Triggers).

We have to start somewhere healing the planet so why don’t we start by loving ourselves more and loving others more!

In the next blog I’ll go more internal — this is what I call spirituality. Going within to see and feel one’s own spirit). This is what I do with my clients, we tackle things on a physical, external, internal, emotional, and spiritual level. I also dive deeper with them on an energetic level. We find the root of the triggers so that we can address them and knock them out for good! The options with the healing work I do for others is limitless. It helps our souls keep our human selves on path — learning, healing, and growing!!!
